For over 50 years, Bewdley Carnival has been raising funds and supporting local causes in our local community. In 2023, after 3 years of hiatus, a new committee was formed and once again the carnival returned to Bewdley. As an official sponsor we decided to create a modern brand, with a fun design to bring a vibrant look to all of the marketing material and website.
When approaching a design such as this, it is important to keep some traditions, whilst also modernising the overall look of a very traditional event.
The blue and yellow colours of this design were taken from banners that have been previously used, as-well-as the “Bewdley Carnival” text on the logo. The other colours are chosen to complement the main colours, keeping a “flat-pastel” colour pallet.
Imagery and bright colours are the main focus here, keeping the eye drawn to individual sections of the website they a visitor may be looking for, keeping the consistency in designated sections, and making the entire experience very easy to use for everyone.
